I’m a CG artist and director based near Brighton, UK.
My job description is somewhat fluid: Director, Producer, Editor, VFX Advisor, Painter, Art Director, Designer, Modeller, Texture artist, Compositor, Creative Director, Copywriter, Animator. Each project requires a unique combination of disciplines, usually driven by the collaboration with the artist or client.
I’ve been lucky enough to be able to work with some of the biggest artists on the planet, both as a Director and CG artist- for example Album covers for the likes of Paul McCartney and ACDC and music videos for Kylie, ACDC, Calvin Harris and the Ting Tings.
I started out fascinated by the world of video/installation art and began collaborating with various dance music acts before moving to London and getting into VFX before becoming a music video director. I then began branching out into event visuals ( Roger Waters ‘The Wall’, Paul McCartney, The Who, Robbie Williams, Kylie, The Killers, Tame Impala ). I’m currently rediscovering my own digital art practise and getting back to basics- exploring a whole host of personal projects on various different platforms…watch this space ;)
